Lifesaving support activities in Borneo

Bob Lee, the brand's founder, lived his life based on the principle of "coexistence with nature." Inheriting this spirit, HUNTING WORLD continues its sustainable activities.

A prime example of this is the Borneo Charity Project. Borneo Island, located in Southeast Asia, was once a paradise known as a "treasure trove of life." However, in recent years, environmental destruction due to industrialization has been severe, and many animals, including Borneo elephants, and forests are said to be on the brink of crisis. The organization carrying out environmental conservation activities to address this problem is the "Borneo Conservation Trust (BCT)." HUNTING WORLD continuously donates a portion of the sales from its charity series to support BCT's activities.

The Borneo Conservation Trust (BCT), an environmental protection organization, is actively engaged in various conservation efforts in the field. Hunting World, resonating with these activities, has been supporting BCT's work through charity since 2008. Hunting World's support has also been instrumental in the creation of the "Hunting World Symbiosis Forest," which is crucial for securing migration routes for Borneo elephants. In recent years, the cost of feed for rescued Borneo elephants has frequently burdened the financial resources of conservation organizations.

To that end, Hunting World has decided to expand its financial support through the sale of charity goods, enabling them to continue stable care for rescued elephants until they can be returned to the wild. In addition to these charity activities, the brand also organizes talk shows and photo exhibitions to raise awareness of the local situation. Furthermore, Hunting World provides material support by donating four-wheel drive vehicles and research vessels necessary for wildlife rescue to the "Sabah State Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment, Wildlife Department" in Malaysia.
