Brand founder Bob Lee was an adventurer and photographer. The original functional material that became the brand's symbol, "BATTUE CLOTH," was born to protect camera equipment carried on expedition trips from shocks, dust, and water. In the equipment list published in Bob Lee's Africa expedition guidebook "Safari Today," published in 1960, was the name of the famous camera, the Leica M3.
Born from this episode is the shoulder-type "Photographer's Bag" designed for Leica M-type cameras. While retaining the combination of "BATTUE CLOTH" from BATTUE ORIGIN NEO and Italian vegetable-tanned leather, this special product features thick cushioning material in the main compartment to protect equipment and a smooth suede-like material lining. The M size can store a camera body and lens, while the S size can store only the camera body, offering two sizes in the lineup.
Bob Lee, the brand's founder, was an adventurer and photographer. The "Battue Cloth," an original functional material that became a brand icon, was created to protect camera equipment carried on expeditions from impact, dust, and water. In the equipment list published in Bob Lee's 1960 African expedition guide book, "Safari Today," the legendary Leica M3 camera was mentioned. This episode inspired the creation of the "Photographer Bag," a shoulder bag designed for Leica M-type cameras. It features the same combination of "Battue Cloth" from "Battue Origin Neo" and Italian vegetable-tanned leather, but with a special addition: thick cushioning in the main compartment to protect equipment, and a smooth suede-like material lining. The bag is available in two sizes: M, which can hold a camera body and lens, and S, which can hold only a camera body.
